War Rugs

War Rugs of Afghanistan is a travelling exhibition organized by the Textile Museum of Canada. Traced to the era of Soviet occupation, the Afghani war rug tradition is marked by the accuracy of its martial imagery and by the anonymity of its weavers.

The rugs are currently on display at Penn Museum.
