Sorry for the late post, I got back home from Houston late Sunday night and got thrown into a pile of work on Monday.
The trip down to Houston with Sanjay was a blast, but I didn’t take too many pictures, oops.
It started with a bang, we thought the Taliban got on board our flight, but it was just some hippy from SF trying to get some shut eye.

We went down for the opening of the arts of India Gallery at the
Museum of Fine Arts, like I previously mentioned.
The postcard reminded me of what Sanjay and I are doing with our work.
Mythology / vintage Bollywood.

The lighting in the gallery was pretty shitty, so I didn’t get any good shots inside.
Here’s part of the interactive touch screen that had some Ghee Happy reprezentin’.

We went to a couple events for the gallery opening throughout the trip.
Hung out with the Houston elite and their trophy wives on Thursday at this fancy dinner.
Beet and blood orange puree, wtf? Tasty.

We landed at 1/2 Price books one afternoon, which was pretty dope.
Sanjay scored some rare Little Golden books.

Isn’t this cover dope Dave?

Book signing at the museum, non stop for 3 hrs. The GH groupies were out in full effect.

Halal Tacos? Hell yea!

Check out this great hand lettering that Christine, the curator for the museum, had in her office. She’s been trying to learn Arabic and Sanskrit, crazy.

See you next time TX.
